KATHLEEN KEARNS

An award-winning, nationally published writer with more than 20 years’ experience, Kathleen has a passion for finding and telling compelling stories. With a background in journalism, marketing, oral history and creative writing, she writes feature stories for magazines and newspapers as well as annual reports, company histories, and electronic newsletters for companies and nonprofit organizations. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, Our State, numerous alumni magazines and elsewhere, and her clients include the John Rex Endowment, the UNC Health Care System, and Kindermusik International. Her trend pieces for Signal Hill client ABHOW add rich content to the company's Web site and position the organization as a national leader in senior housing and health care. Kathleen earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Cornell University and her master’s in creative writing from Louisiana State University.
