Short Doc Explores Social Accountability
Cary, N.C., May 22, 2010 - The Signal Hill Company has produced a short documentary on the theme of social accountability for one of the nation's pioneers in continuing care retirement communities.
"Creating Community" explores how Pleasanton, Calif.-based ABHOW connects the development and redevelopment of its communities to the company's social accountability efforts.
"Our goal in this video is to show how ABHOW's investment in new communities and in redevelopment of older communities provides incredible value to the towns and cities the company serves," says Daniel Pryfogle, Signal Hill's principal and creative director. "Since its founding in 1949, ABHOW has understood that its mission extends beyond its campuses. That's a remarkable commitment, and the video highlights this heritage of social accountability."
"Creating Community is the latest video produced by Signal Hill for ABHOW. In 2009 Signal Hill released a series of videos for the company's 60th anniversary. Earlier, Signal Hill produced several videos for a multimedia campaign on ABHOW's award-winning approach to memory support.
ABHOW is widely known for its pioneering leadership in senior housing and health care. The company serves more than 4,700 residents in 33 retirement communities in California, Arizona, Nevada and Washington. Learn more about ABHOW at http://www.abhow.com.
