CULTIVATING THE SOULFUL ORGANIZATION

"Cultivating the Soulful Organization: A Passion-Driven Approach to Organizational Development" is a one-day workshop for churches and organizations offered by Daniel Pryfogle. The workshop can also be tailored for a retreat format.

Most training and planning initiatives, though nobly pursued, fail to fully engage staff because they tend to be more about fitting employees into a corporate plan rather than rooting the organization in the passions of its members. Organizations that pay attention to passions -- organizations that tend to individual spirit and corporate soul -- discover freedom, energy, and greater capacity to change. They become, in Max De Pree’s words, "places of realized potential."

In this workshop, participants explore the concept of soul in an organization -- the core identity, the corporate calling, the "first love" -- and engage in creative expression that taps the substance of soul, which is passion, the joy that sustains good work. Finally, participants explore practices that cultivate a more soulful way of being.
