VolunteerMatch is a one-stop spot for volunteer recruitment. It even includes a blog called “Engaging Volunteers” that offers tips, news, best practices and stories about volunteering in the nonprofit sector.
Service Leader
This site provides information on the study and practice of volunteerism, including an inexpensive e-book on strategic volunteer engagement for nonprofit and public sector leaders.
Convio
Convio’s online products like “Common Ground” help you organize, manage and stay connected with volunteers, donors and other important constituents.
According to VolunteerMatch, two-thirds of those who serve an organization will donate money in addition to their time— and when they do, they give 10 TIMES more than the average donor. So paying attention to your volunteers is smart business and easy to do with a few of these tools!
