From the age of two, Mallory began her search for creative outlets from which to share with the world. Beginning with dance classes that remained a part of her life for ten years, Mallory soon became engaged not only by creativity on stage but by the stories found within the art of music.

To pursue this passion, Mallory worked as a DJ for local college radio station WKNC and also as an intern for Merge Records located in Durham, N.C. Today, she finds her enjoyment of creativity to have expanded to include a love for the written word. To engage in this passion she pursued a bachelor's degree in communications at North Carolina State University with a concentration in public relations. With a strong interest in social networking, Mallory looks to expand upon the power of storytelling through a multitude of online mediums.

Mallory's Adventure Artifact

Mallory's Adventure Artifactpaper clip

Though the summer of 2011 marked the beginning of my future, I was also fortunate enough to experience past elements of my family's history.

Traveling to Spain, Scotland, and France, I explored countries that were both foreign and exciting. However, none of them managed to make me feel home the way I did in Ireland. Passing through customs into the country, the authority let out a cheerful "Hello, Ms. Flynn. Not surprising that you're here!"

As a descendant of their homeland, I found my family name in every corner. Rainy days spent near Sligo led to my inquiry of Flynns in the area, wherein the locals let me know I wouldn't have to look far. I found nothing short of hospitality in every location. I even had my first hitchhiking adventure without even attempting to hitchhike!
